2K Sports announces the MLB 2K10 million-dollar winner

Here I was, thinking that my years of playing video games paid off when I landed this cool job. It’s good and all, but it doesn’t compare to what Wade McGilberry got for investing time and effort in gaming. Who’s he? Well, he won the MLB 2K10 million-dollar prize by pitching a perfect no-hitter.

Here I was, thinking that my years of playing video games paid off when I landed this cool job. It’s good and all, but it doesn’t compare to what Wade McGilberry got for investing time and effort in gaming. Who’s he? Well, he won the MLB 2K10 million-dollar prize by pitching a perfect no-hitter.

 

McGilberry, 24, from Semmes, Alabama, bested 27 hitters that stepped up to the plate and no one got a taste of first base. For that, he won the 2K Sports competition and he’s now a million bucks richer. Now he’s probably looking up Ferraris and getting phone calls non-stop from girls who ignored him in high school.
