360 Gets Portable LCD From JoyTech

…But I don’t think dedicated gamers will be crazy about this portable LCD from JoyTech, especially when the 9.2-inch LCD’s resolution is only 800×480. Gamers won’t be too happy playing 360 games with this even if the TFT screen provides a 160-degree viewing angle.

This portable LCD form JoyTech has various features that people will find amusing including the SRS 3D Surround Sound that dramatically improves the audio quality, integrated twin modular Stereo Speakers, and multi digital OSD menu. But there will be people who are bound to complain about the size of this LCD – its 295mm(w) x225mm (d) x115mm (h) dimension seems too bulky.

I know it’s a really good idea to have a portable LCD for the Xbox 360 which will enable you to use the console even when you’re in a plane and have nothing productive to do, but JoyTech’s LCD doesn’t seem to be the perfect match for this console, especially when you have to slap this on the 360’s side vents. (This console has a slight overheating problem so these vent holes are really key to preventing overheating issues.)
