Call Him Chief: Cody Miller Kills Halo 2 Legendary Mode in 3 and 1/2 Hours
Completely unrelated to the Xbox 360, but still cool is the story of Cody Miller defeating Halo 2.
He did it on Legendary Mode, which almost every Halo fan would probably rate as “damned near impossible,” or at least “very, very tough,” without dying.
He also did it in 3 hours and 28 minutes, a feat which apparently got him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. Now, we have no idea why Guinness would be interested in gaming in this manner, but it’s a big achievement, and one that got him $250.
Miller aimed to fulfill a bounty proposed by Twin Galaxies, where someone defeating the game on legendary mode with the quickest time would receive $250. Not only did he fulfill that bounty, but he also managed to earn himself gaming immortality.
There’s a video up of his run somewhere, but it’s 2 gigabytes large, which kind of puts a damper on downloading it. If you guys have picked it up before, why not host it for other readers, alright?
