Def Jam: Icon Brutal Brawl video heads up
And yet another fighting video from the popular rap-meets-street-brawl game that somehow manages to slap a dramatic story into a game based on beating people up – famous people, in this case. But seeing how the Mortal Kombat series fared, we guess you can slap any kind of story onto a fighting game. Def Jam: Icon is the newest Def Jam game for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360; this time from EA Chicago.
Now the video brings in a pretty neat cinematic feel to it, like something that leaped out of a wicked MTV video. While this is awfully creative and all, it kind of makes me feel dizzy. Really dizzy. The music is catchy and makes you want to bob your head in the old hip-hop cliche, although with the pulsing visuals it could get you dizzy even more.
Take a look for yourself. This vid was taken from the demo released on XBL.
