New Heavenly Sword screenshots

Some sweet next-gen slash-em-up eye candy coming your way with a fresh batch of screenshots of the highly-anticipated title for the PlayStation 3, Ninja Theory‘s Heavenly Sword. In these, we see quite a few shots of Nariko, as well as some other characters – most notable is the token slow-but-strong big guy with the morbidly-obese physique, sporting a pair of rather prominent…swords.

There’s also the token old dude with the royal fittings, as well as token hissing-mad ladies with fangs. Still, even with these ‘token’ characters, there’s much to be said about how sweet the game’s graphics are shaping up to be, from the amount of detail in the facial expressions to the graceful fluidity of combat itself.
