Hellgate: London’s Guy Fawkes inspired patch additions

Speaking of future content, we’ve just heard about some gameplay tweaks that hardcore MMORPG players might find interesting.

We’ve just received word that Flagship Studios will be implementing a patch for Hellgate: London to commemorate Guy Fawkes Day, which includes something special for both paying and non-paying subscribers alike.

Available to all players, for example, will be the ability to enter Elite Mode for a more challenging gameplay experience. The patching of the servers will occur today, November 5th, between 6 a.m and 9 a.m. PST.

We’ve just received word that Flagship Studios will be implementing a patch for Hellgate: London to commemorate Guy Fawkes Day, which includes something special for both paying and non-paying subscribers alike.

Available to all players, for example, will be the ability to enter Elite Mode for a more challenging gameplay experience. In addition to this, paid subscribers will be able to experience Guy Fawkes Day through a bunch of special quests and Fawkes-themed items.

These include new quests, recipes, schematics, food items, and a liberal sprinkling of attainable grenades. Monsters will also have a chance to drop gear that is thematically bound to the festivities. The patching of the servers will occur today, November 5th, between 6 a.m and 9 a.m. PST.
