Activision: Lego Indiana Jones release date, other Play.com Live events
It looks like it’s official. Lego Indiana Jones (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC) will be swinging by on all the major gaming platforms this June 6 as Activision announced this news tidbit along with its line up of events for the upcoming Play.com Live event this March 15 and March 16 at Wembley Stadium in the UK. You can read all about the details of Activision’s statement in the full article.
If you happen to be passing by Wembley Stadium this March 15 and 16, make sure to drop by the Activision booth for a chance to see the playable demo of Traveler Tales’ Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.
The Play.com Live event will also feature some of the hottest games out today, as well as other exclusive events to be presented by other big names in the video gaming industry.
The playable demo of the famous archaeologist’s avatar won’t be the only thing to be featured during the event. Activision will also be giving out a brand new Xbox 360 console, a 32-inch HD ready LCD TV set, and a copy of Lego Indiana Jones for lucky attendees who can find the hidden “X” located somewhere in the venue.
This is definitely a good way to promote the game for its June 6 release on the PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, and PC.
If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can also check out the other events being held at Play.com Live, such as the Guitar Hero III contest which will give out as much as £5,000 to the best rocker. And if large-scale combat is more of your thing, you can also enter in the multiplayer battle area for Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360, PC, and PS3).
