Konami to publish Saw video game
Who can forget the bone-sawing life lessons as taught by Jigsaw? Well, Konami sure didn’t, and they’re set to publish the video game based on the Saw movies. All the bloody details in the full article.
Who can forget the bone-sawing life lessons as taught by Jigsaw? Well, Konami sure didn’t, and they’re set to publish the video game based on the Saw movies. Originally, this game was to go to Brash Entertainment. That poster you’re seeing was made by Brash to promote the game.
But with a breach of contract, Konami was able to sign a deal with Lions Gate Films who owns the rights to the Saw movies. With its experience in Silent Hill, this publisher knows its blood.
No details on gameplay yet, whether you get to orchestrate your own sadistic scenarios on the poor squandered souls, or if you’re gonna be the poor victim desperately trying to get out of the death traps. Either of the two would make me a very happy Saw fan. Just not a police-work game, okay Konami? I don’t want to play some cop hunting Jigsaw down.
The voice of Jigsaw will thankfully be played by the original Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell. It’s also set to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC. Let’s just hope that this game doesn’t turn out to be a Teen-rated sell out. Let’s go for Mature, Konami!
Oh and just a note, since the game isn’t Brash’s to make now, that whoisjigsaw.com on the poster doesn’t work anymore.
