It has only been roughly two months since Dragon Age: Origins came out. BioWare also has a two-year DLC roadmap for the game, so it’s still pretty early to be talking about full-on expansions, right? Not so, says the rumor mill.

According to Eurogamer’s Czech website, they’ve spotted an online listing for an expansion called Dragon Age: The Awakening set for release on March 19. It apparently won’t be DLC but a full retail release instead. The expansion reportedly requires the original game, will raise the level cap, and has a new 15-hour-long campaign featuring a new character.

The site reports that Awakening will cost around 2/3 of the original and that EA is set to make an official announcement sometime this month. Only the PC version was mentioned, but if this turns out to be true we’ll probably see PS3 and Xbox 360 releases as well.
