Wii titles continue to dominate UK charts

Last week’s weight-loss gaming frenzy hasn’t let up – Just Dance and Wii Fit Plus are still in control of the UK software charts. Adding to the top performers of the week is yet another Wii title in the form of Wii Sports Resort, putting these charts right into Nintendo’s corner.

 

 

 

Last week’s weight-loss gaming frenzy hasn’t let up – Just Dance and Wii Fit Plus are still in control of the UK software charts. Adding to the top performers of the week is yet another Wii title in the form of Wii Sports Resort, putting these charts right into Nintendo’s corner.

 

1. Just Dance (Ubisoft) – Wii
2. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo) – Wii
3. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo) – Wii
4. Modern Warfare 2 (Activision) – Xbox 360
5. Army of Two: The 40th Day (EA) – Xbox 360
6. Modern Warfare 2 (Activision) – PS3
7. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Nintendo) – Wii
8. Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo) – Wii

 

Despite having to bow to the Wii games for the second week running, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Modern Warfare 2 managed to stay afloat at 4th and 6th respectively. Cutting in between them would be Army of Two: The 40th Day for the Xbox 360. But with Mass Effect 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Ultimate All-Stars, and MAG on shelves this week, those spots are likely to move over and change it up a bit.
