Advertising, needless to say, has a purpose. Whenever a new product or update appears, there’s always a need to get the word out. It brings the new item or the new service to the people’s consciousness. After the Video Marketplace for the Xbox 360 was confirmed, it is expected that a new commercial would be under way.
True enough, here’s the new Microsoft commercial. While it focuses alone on THE Xbox Live and not the video download aspect, it does get the message across that a service such as Xbox Live exists. And with a line that reads, “The next generation is playing with friends on Xbox Live. The next generation is now,” we are rather sure that even people with the most faint concern to gaming would be curious what Xbox Live is all about.
While most X360 fans are happy regarding this development, competitors of Microsoft like Sony’s Karraker has always something negative to say. We could only wonder what he thinks of their company’s adverts.
