Activision announces Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, releases video

The recent Spider-Man games have all been free roaming, open-ended games. However, the games never really gave you a choice of becoming the bad guy. Spidey fans have yet another reason to don their spandex outfits and cheer. Activision has announced Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, and the PC.

According to Activision, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows will be a free roaming, open-ended game set in New York. Unlike the previous game which forced you to be good, players can finally choose to do what they want, ignoring missions and even joining up with some Marvel Super villains.
