Drawing on the rich history of Škoda Motorsport, the Škoda Design Team has created a creative review of a individual- person, all- electric racing strategy car: the ŠKOD A Vision Gran Turismo. This concept, which was created specifically for Gran Turismo, is Koda’s first appearance in the Gran Turismo collection. The Vision Gran Turismo is a contemporary homage to this famous sporting vehicle and promises an engaging and flexible driving experience inspired by the 1957 Koda 1100 OHC Spyder racing car.
The pattern team revisited the recognizable Koda 1100 OHC in the genesis of the KODA Vision Gran Turismo initiative in 2019. The group was primarily debating whether to restore the original 1100 OHC or develop a modern generation for the modern era. The koda Design group opted for an impressive method, creating a fusion of past and future after consulting with main developer Oliver Stefani.
This racing idea honors its famous predecessor and incorporates the fundamental elements of Koda’s Current Solid design language, as seen in its T-shaped headlights. What’s more, the Vision Gran Turismo showcases two different liveries: one reflecting the identity of the popular Škoda 130 RS racing vehicles from 70́s, and the other inspired by the Vision 7S idea vehicles, which embodies Škodás Modern Solid Design idea.
The KODA Vision Gran Turismo is characterized by a sleek exterior, crisp, clear lines, and sharp edges that resemble the aesthetics of contemporary Formula E racers. Through active aerodynamics, it’s design is optimized for better handling. Features like the striking, adaptive two-piece rear wing and the aerodynamically sculpted body all function together to dynamically adapt to driving conditions and increase performance. The vehicle incorporates independent wishbone push- rod type suspension system, mounted to a carbon monocoque like those found in Formula E cars, improving high- speed stability, reducing body roll, and lowering the vehicle’s center of gravity.
The KODA Vision Gran Turismo design is grounded by its efficiency and excellent driving dynamics. It is equipped with two 200 kW ( 268.2 BHP ) electric twin motors, one on each axle, delivering a combined power output of 800 kW ( 1, 072 BHP). A balanced and responsive driving experience is provided by the inclusion of all-wheel drive and a wise torque distribution across both axles. This is complemented by a smooth, single- speed transmission, providing seamless acceleration.
The KODA Vision Gran Turismo’s exterior and interior are harmonious, giving the driver the impression of merging with the vehicle, especially once they take a seat in the cockpit of the cutting-edge carbon monocoque chassis.

This new company, born from the collaboration between 2 very different companies, unveiled their AFEELA Prototype 2024 BEV at the beginning of CES® 2024.
The vehicle has a smooth aerodynamic appearance and follows an old hatchback sedan shape on the exterior. The front of the roof, which has a LiDAR unit, as well as other image and radar sensors, are among the various sensing devices in the car. The highly accurate information collected by these vehicles is used to make driving assistance more natural.
There is no need for door handles because the doors open automatically as the user approaches. The programmable” Media Bar,” a digital display that allows for both self-expression and communication from outside the car, can be found facing the front grille.

Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Sport Coupe’ 70

Introduced in the 1964 model year, the Chevelle was Chevrolet’s first intermediate model. The Chevelle had all the characteristics of a muscle car, with the addition of an SS sports grade model in the lineup and the option for a 327ci high output V8 engine.
In the following year of 1965 however, the Chevelle SS was transformed into a full- blown high- performance car, with a 396 ci, OHV V8. The Chevelle SS was only offered with this 396 ci unit from then on, drawing a direct distinction between it and the prior SS.
The Chevelle SS became known as the market’s most potent intermediate model in 1970. The engine line- up that was only available in 396 ci was upgraded, offering an enlarged 402 ci model. In addition, a 454 ci, enlarged version of the 427 ci, was offered as well.
The option codes for the two types of 454 ci models offered, were the LS5 and LS6. The former produced 355 BHP with a compression of 10.25: 1, and the compression of the latter was raised to 11.25: 1, and combined with high cams and high flow headers, it produced approximately 449.7 BHP. This was the car’s most potent model engine in the history of American cars at the time.
The LS6-equipped Chevelle SS454 was immediately recognized as a very special model because it had an unusually high wild power output for a road-legal car. It was the main contender in stock class drag racing, and it was equipped with straight exhaust and carburetor settings.
