Annex mode for GoW glitched with more slow gears?

Seems like Annex mode for Gears of War needs a bit of oil and lubricant: the April 9 update‘s gears are glitchy. And although release notes for the patch specifically include that Epic Games has “Adjusted Roadie Run: Reduced frequency of accidentally grabbing cover while running,” Xbox360fanboy reports that most of the people they’ve talked to say that the opposite thing is actually happening.

To quote them: “Roadie running now feels like you have fourteen gallons of Elmer’s glue smothered over your body causing you to stick to every wall and object when running.”

Movement glitches don’t seem to be the only thing bugged. There’re still some weapon-related craziness going on. While Xbox360fanboy reports that a couple of YouTube vids have already surfaced showing these kinds of glitches, we took the liberty of fishing them out. One such vid is posted below:

Now we ask: are your Gears running ok? Neither Microsoft nor Epic Games have given any statement about trying to fix the bugs – and neither of them have even given any word about acknowledging that there are glitches in the first place. We’ve checked the Major’s blog and even he seems to have no word on the issue. Meanwhile, just stick around for more updates… LOL! Stick around, literally, to every wall, car, post, barrel, or building in the Annex!
