Announced: SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2

Zipper interactive has announced their plans to publish a sequel to last year’s first-person shooter SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo for the PSP.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 will include:

– 14 single-player missions across diverse terrain and environments
– A non-linear mission progression, allowing the player to choose which mission they will next attempt
– Dynamic mission generation allowing for virtually endless replay
– Earn Command Equity points to purchase special assets such as weapon, intelligence, air strikes and more …
– Earn Local Influence ratings to gain free intel and access to black market items and equipment
– Improved enemy tactics and behaviour
– Over 40 authentic weapons and equipment options
– Multiplayer through Ad Hoc and Infrastructure Modes with a Wi-Fi connection
– 3 new multiplayer game modes including Tug-of-War Control Points, Capture the Flag and Target
– Expanded online community support

Although an official release date has not yet been set, it is anticipated that it will launch this fall along with SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault for the PlayStation 2.
