Another Century’s Episode: R ravaging Japan this August

This year, PS3s in Japan will get caught up in a terrifying struggle between giant robots. No, it’s not another Gundam game, although it does have a few Gundams in it. It’s Namco Bandai and From Software’s Another Century’s Episode: R, which has just recently been dated for a Japanese release.

 

 

 

 

This year, PS3s in Japan will get caught up in a terrifying struggle between giant robots. No, it’s not another Gundam game, although it does have a few Gundams in it. It’s Namco Bandai and From Software’s Another Century’s Episode: R, which has just recently been dated for a Japanese release.

 

The game will hit Japan on August 19, so if you’re planning to import better mark that date on your calendar. Those who pre-order will get early access to the Z Gundam 3, although even if you don’t pre-order it’ll eventually be unlocked just by playing through the game.

 

Another Century’s Episode: R is the first game in the series to appear on PS3. New mecha franchises confirmed for the game are Full Metal Panic, Code Geass R2, Macross Frontier, Macross Zero, Genesis of Aquarion, Super Dimension Century Orguss, Crossbone Gundam, and Gundam Seed Destiny.
