Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut Edition announced, 4 new missions included

Ubisoft has just announced that the PC version, dubbed Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut Edition will be coming to the shelves in March and it sports something console owners might not see on their machines. Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft Montreal - Image 1 We’ve been enjoying Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed on our consoles (Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3) for quite a while, and we’re sure PC gamers have been eagerly waiting for news regarding the stealth title. We just received word that the PC iteration of Assassin’s Creed is indeed going to the shelves in March, the clincher is that it’s going to come with additional content.

The said release, called Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut Edition, will be sporting four additional missions for our intrepid assassin Altair. According to the press release, the “brand new exclusive types of investigations” will allow players to explore more locations in the world of the Third Crusade.

Console fans of Assassin’s Creed need not worry, we might be seeing those four missions in the form of downloadable content, right? Right? Oh and here’s to hoping the our gaming machines don’t curl up and die from Assassin Creed‘s rumored system requirements.
