Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 details
NIS America hasn’t even gotten around to giving us Atelier Rorona and we learn that Gust is already on the sequel, Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2.
Do we need to point out that these shores haven’t even seen Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland? Guess not. Well, in case you have imported the Japanese alchemy RPG from Gust, you’ll be glad to know that the second installment is already in the works and is slated to hit the shelves on June 24 for the PlayStation 3.
Around June of last year, Atelier Rorona hit Japan with its heroine Rororina Fryxell’s adventures around the Republic of Arland. In Atelier Totori, the game fast forwards to five years later and centers around a new alchemist named Totooria Helmold who is in search of her mother, a missing adventurer. Totooria’s adventure will also be around and beyond Arland.
According to reports, Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 will be sporting improvements battle system-wise, and so fans should be able to look forward to more than just a new story and new characters. Don’t get depressed, take comfort in the fact that Atelier Rorona is slated for a summer release.
