Australian release dates and prices for PS3 games

Heavenly Sword - Image 1Heads up, Australian PS3 fans! Futuregamez.net got some interesting news regarding upcoming PlayStation 3 video games, particularly their release dates as well as pricing information.

The air-and-ground shooter Warhawk is rumored to be released in Australia this coming September 20 and will be priced at AU$ 99.95. The package includes the Bluetooth headset that’s also in U.S. Warhawk retail packs.

According the Futuregamez.net’s sources, the hot card-game-meets-3D from Sony, Eye of Judgement, is set to launch on October 25, for a steep price of AU$ 195.95. The add-ons included in this package will completely justify the price tag, as the package includes the game, deck of playing cards, game board, and the PlayStation Eye Camera with stand. The PlayStation Eye Camera peripheral will also be available separately for only AU$ 59.95.

Another title to be released with add-on peripherals is SingStar, which will sell for AU$ 99.95 including two wired microphones. If you still have the PlayStation 2 microphones stashed in your house – the PS3 SingStar microphones are the same as the set included in the PS3 game – you can get the game for only AU$ 49.95.

Next up is Lair, which is reported to fly into Australian shelves on October 25, the same day as Eye of Judgement. There’s no pricing information for Lair as of this writing, but do check this space often for updates.

Finally, Heavenly Sword is going to hack its way into Australian shores for a recommended retail price of AU$ 109.95, which is curiously a AU$ 10 higher than most other Sony titles. There’s no exact release date reported, but we’ll keep you posted as always.

Please be reminded that the above information has not been officially announced yet, so do take them with a grain of salt. More details as they come.

Thanks to Dave for the tip!
