Baby-foot Foosball Beta 2 for the DS

DS foosball - Image 1 For foosball freaks out there, here’s a homebrew program for playing table football on your DS. Cyberced made this as his first project on Nintendo‘s latest handheld, and we think it looks good. Now, it’s electronic foosball goodness without the added trip to the arcade!

This refreshing idea has been around for quite some time; Cyberced released the first playable version alpha February 5th. Major improvements have been made, although it’s not quite finished yet, and without even a title. At least now, after the alpha release, there are already different speed displacement for the players, background music, collision, blocking, and improvements on the graphics: the players now come in beech.

Here’s how it plays:

Left: to move the bar of the defender and the attackers towards the left

Right-hand side: to move the bar of the defender and the attackers towards the line

High: To put the feet of the defender and the attackers in trade (forwards)

Low: To put the feet of the defender and the attackers in cassette (backwards)

Y: to move the bar of the halves (bars mediums) and goal towards the left

A: to move the bar of the halves (bars mediums) and goal towards the line

X: To put the feet of the halves (bars mediums) and goal trades about it (forwards)

B: To put the feet of the halves (bars mediums) and goal in cassette (backwards)

Cyberced promises to still work on the collisions and to make AI. Download link’s right below so go on and have some good old foosball fun.
