Bamboo Keyboards…Why?
Evergreen is a Japanese company that has come out with the DN-BBKB01 bamboo keyboard and wired optical bamboo mouse. The keyboard has all the keys you need and has an additional oversized tab key next to the numeric pad for easy entry. The keyboard costs $68 US. The mouse ( DN-BBMS01) comes in cordless, optical, ergonomic and track ball styles and starts at $9.99 and goes up to $34 US.
This seems like a very cool idea to have a bamboo looking keyboard and mouse to fit into someone’s office décor. But if you are trying to up the professional feel of your office this looks a wee bit cheesy. The black plastic keys just do not compliment one another. Not to mention the possibility your keyboard could burst into flames…
