The buyout of Warner Bros. of publisher Midway has been OK’d by a bankruptcy judge, making the US$ 33 million acquisition a sure go. The deal is expected to finally close within 10 days, this according to the reports by the Chicago Tribune.

But despite this new ownership, a couple more Midway studios are left to fend for themselves, such as Midway San Diego and Midway Newcastle. They have 60 days to find new owners, or else face the consequence of being shut down. Sports franchises like Blitz and NBA Ballers are also up for grabs for any parties that may be interested.
