Major Nelson is Larry Hryb’s XBox live gamertag. He hosts a site that goes by the same name stating that he runs the blog out of his passion for the XBox Community. He expresses his thoughts on XBox and Microsoft point blank. No nonsense. What’s so special about that you ask, since just about anybody can say their opinion about XBox or Microsoft. Major Nelson just happened to be XBox Live’s Director of Programming. Maybe gamers see him as their inside man at XBox, making him more endearing to every XBox enthusiast.
Although he’s from Microsoft he doesn’t exactly represent the company. He runs his blog on his own time and with his own money. So when we see a link that says “The Official Sony Podcast Download here” you just know it’s going to be very interesting.
