Battlefield: Bad Company release date, Gold Edition details
You’re in good company with the gang of Battlefield: Bad Company. Electronic Arts has announced the official release date for the game, and the details on the game’s Gold Edition. Details in the full article.
Looks like Battlefield: Bad Company is right on track for its summer release date: Electronic Arts has announced that the game will be released on June 23 for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 consoles. EA has also released details on the game’s Gold Edition.
The Gold Edition raised some commotion among gamers some time ago, when news spread that some weapons available in the Gold Edition can only be bought online if you purchase the standard edition of the game. EA settled this problem a few days ago, clarifying that all weapons can be unlocked within the game itself.
So what’s the incentive for buying the Gold Edition then? Well for one thing, those weapons that were supposedly only purchasable online can be accessed early in the game. Also, the Gold Edition contains exclusive strategy videos that show tips and tricks on how to own everyone else in the battlefield.
Battlefield: Bad Company‘s Gold Edition will be available for US$ 69.99 for both platforms, ten bucks more than the standard edition.
