Because nature is gross: Critter Crunch grossing you out on PSN, while being cute

Kris Piotrowski, Creative Director for Capybara Games, dropped by the PlayStation Blog to fill us in on their newest PSN title coming aboard, Critter Crunch. It’s a “crazy little arcade-puzzler” that is inspired by an “original and award-winning ‘food chain’ puzzle mechanic.”

The objective, therefore, is to feed critters into each other until they burst! Okay, that sounded morbid right there. Just imagine the LocoRocos with furs, and sans the bursting part. See how “cute as it is horrible and sad.” Another rather disturbing statement, wouldn’t you agree? Oh, the irony! Just watch and enjoy.

Critter Crunch features single player modes like adventure & puzzle, and there’s also online and local multiplayers featured in the versus and co-op modes. You know, more natural bursting fun, the merrier. There are also trophies to collect, so eat away at those critters till you burst!

What Kris did not mention was the release date of the game on the PSN, so we’ll have to check back on that later on.

And for the record. I don’t care if that was rainbow. It’s still vomit. It killed me.
