Mothership Zeta - Image 1The last of the downloadable contents, Mothership Zeta, has been released by Bethesda, and now it’s time for the fans to just lap it up and enjoy. You may want to ask for more, but for the devs, five is enough.

Said Todd Howard, “I think we’ve put enough content out there for this game.” The executive producer for Bethesda Softworks disclosed that they are very happy with the roll-out. “We knew we wanted to do three initially and we’ll see where that goes. I kind of had in my mind that the upper limit was five,” he explained. “Part of that was what I think people are willing to continue to pay for a game. And a lot of that is our own internal bandwidth.”

His favorite among the five released DLCs: Point Lookout. To him, it’s “one of the biggest and best DLCs.” He said that he knew they were making a fourth one, and so he said to the team, “I think you guys should do this,” he told them. “Come up with some ideas and pitch us.” And that’s what they did. The result: a DLC that brought the players on a creepy new island that puts them on an adventure, a microcosm of the original game developed by Joel Burgess.

If you still haven’t downloaded these DLCs, then do so now. It’s currently available for the Xbox 360 and PC for US$ 10, and PS3 gamers will soon get their hands on them as well.
