Bill Gates Lands Dr Who Role

Who would’ve thought it? Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft and Xbox 360, has landed a role in the latest season of the cult BBC sci-fi drama “Doctor Who.”

According to reports, Gates will play himself in a special half-hour episode set to air on British TV in November. The plot of the episode involves the abduction of the software tycoon while he is fishing on Lake Washington.

The latest Doctor, played by David Tennant, is then asked by the White House to track down Gates and his kidnapper, who turns out to be an alien named Lord Daz Fenster.

Allegedly, spoilers have already hit the Internet, suggesting at the end of the episode, Gates will turn out to be an alien living undercover on Earth with a secret mission to gain world power through software domination.

This isn’t the first time Gates has appeared on TV shows. Previously, Gates had a small cameo on “Frasier” and a cartoon appearance on “The Simpsons.”

Gates, a lifelong “Doctor Who” fan, and said his favorite Doctor was William Hartnell since “He’s got a great first name.”
