Mass Effect 2‘s executive produecer, Casey Hudson, brings us some exciting news via BioWare‘s blog on IGN. According to his first-ever post, Mass Effect 2 will be headed for the E3. You know what that means: more exciting videos, details, and (cross your fingers) a demo, perhaps?
Making a promise, Hudson says, “You can look forward to some incredible new experiences in Mass Effect 2 as the story takes on an even larger proportions, along with a ton of gameplay improvements and a return of things most loved by players of the first game.”
Love in the form of Commander Shepard. And they do love him so much that Hudson clarified certain rumors in the Internet claiming that the commander will be killed off in the sequel. “Better not be,” said Hudson “We had a lot of big plans made, so if someone’s gone and killed Shepard then things are going to take an unexpected turn…”
Yeah, leave Shepard alone. We’ll have more of him come E3 next month.
