Blazing Angels: Smoking Aces trailer

Here’s one for the warplane aficionados: We reported months back that Ubisoft‘s making a new Blazing Angels title for the PS3, and even Ubisoft’s Sebastien Dore seemed pretty ecstatic about talking about the game’s Battle-field style plane-change system and Multiplayer fun, among other things.

But admit it – it just doesn’t sound appealing if all we’re looking at are pretty pictures of our favorite WWII machines “distributing” each other over the air…where’s the action? Where’s the guns? Where’s the brilliant orange explosions?

And here it is: Gametrailers was featuring a trailer for what guys can expect when they climb into the cockpit of one of several selectable machines in Blazing Angels fight-and-flight gameplay. As Ubisoft promised, the gameplay’s looking good as the two planes in the trailer fly guide us through the game’s single-player mode. On a final note: the twin-engine plane appears to be an German Me-110, with the biplane being a British Sopwith Camel. Enjoy the vid.
