Botched PS3 eBay reselling tactics?

Uh-oh... - Image 1Uh-oh... - Image 2

Upon seeing this PlayStation3 pre-order listing on eBay, the only thing that we could honestly think of was “Uh-oh…” and I like to think that our fears have a basis, too, if we consider this unfortunate PS3 reseller’s receipt.

On the receipt, it states that the seller paid CA$ 659.99 for a 60GB PlayStation3. On top of that, he also paid CA$ 69.99 each for the games Blazing Angels and Resistance: Fall of Man, which then brings up the total to CA$ 903.97. Unfortunately, when bidding ended, the final price which this sad seller is bound to accept is only CA$ 734.98, or as eBay conversion has it, US$ 651.

We’re thinking that the seller may have figured that the additional two games would possibly make this sale “hot”, thereby attracting a torrent of bids, but sadly, that isn’t the case. Do I hear a collective sigh? I think so.
