Calculator coming to your WoW Arena aid

Hardcore Arena competitors, and even those of you new to the World of Warcraft PvP bouts, might want to know that Suwayya, a level 70 Human Rogue, has completed an Arena points-rating calculator. The calculator will be useful for determining the future rating and Arena-point totals for a planned hike up the Arena ladder – if everything goes according to plan, of course.

The calculations are based on information that Blizzard was kind enough to share, when asked questions regarding rating and Arena point calculations and reduction caps for each match. It also comes with a pre-plotted graph that shows the rating and Arena-point curves for the 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, and 5 vs. 5 matches. Well, those are the ideal paths, actually, considering the recommended 10-match limit.

And there’s even a spot at the bottom with compiled questions posed toward Blizzard rep Ommra regarding the Arena system and other related issues. If you haven’t noticed, the WoW Arena tournament is already well under way. Remember, there are prizes to be won, and we’re talking in-game and out-of-the-game goodies.
