Call of Duty 4 beta info to be released later today
Here’s some important information for you folks who’ve been wondering about the Call of Duty 4 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) beta. It seems Infinity Ward has released some new information for gamers, with information on how you can get into the first wave of beta testers coming out later today at 5 p.m. PST.
According to information written by Frustum (Jason West, Studio head of Infinity Ward) and stickied on the Call of Duty 4 boards, it seems the early stages of the beta will actually be occurring in waves, with additional players being let in at specific intervals. Most of the current beta testers are actually family and friends of the company staff, but will eventually make way for outside gamers to try out.
