Call of Duty 4 Beta update: higher Rank cap brings new goodies
If you thought you fragged enough people and acquired all the weapons you can get from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s Beta, then you couldn’t be more wrong. Infinity Ward just announced that they’ll be raising the Rank level cap to 16. Hard work will pay off in spades as usual, this time in form of new weapons, perks, and features.
Clan Tags will now be available at level 12. Expect more efforts to improve the game as updates will keep on coming before the Beta ends. For now, check out the e-mail Infinity Ward passed around:
Friday morning at 10 am PDT (1 pm EST) we’re going to be increasing the Rank level cap to Level 16. This is going to allow you to rank up and unlock more weapons, more perks, and more features; including Clan Tags (lv. 12). This is the first of several level increases we’re going to do throughout the beta, so keep playing, and we’ll keep you informed of incoming updates. Thanks to everyone currently playing for the tremendous amount of feedback weÂ’ve been receiving; Keep sending it, and we’ll see you online!
More reason to squeeze everything out of the Beta, that’s for sure. Expect to find the real deal on shelves when Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare ships to retailers on November 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
