Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare PS3 patch now live- better servers and more

The patch for the Sony PlayStation 3 version of Activision and Infinity Ward‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also available on Xbox 360 and PC) is now live. Remember when we reported that the patch for the Sony PlayStation 3 version of Activision and Infinity Ward‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (also available on Xbox 360 and PC) is on track? Well, you will probably be pleased to know that the patch has just been released.

Fans of the game will probably appreciate the new optimized servers and improvements to both the Sniper Rifles and Acog attachments (no delayed shots). In addition, players will also be getting new Kill Cams, a Quick Mute option, and a recently met players list on the PlayStation Network.

Those who plan on patching their game should know that the 12 MB patch automatically applies itself to the game when it is launched.
