Called it: Capcom announces new Basara game
A lot of people were hoping that the Capcom teaser site was for a new Onimusha game, but the fact that it was accessible from the Sengoku Basara portal kinda weighed the odds in favor of a new Basara game. And so it turned out to be just that.

Capcom has revealed that the next entry in the popular (more so in Japan than anywhere else) action series is Sengoku Basara 3. Actually, that’s pretty much all they’ve revealed aside from a 2010 date and the two character silhouettes below.
Never really got into this series but it’s interesting that the last date shown on the teaser site was 1600, the year when Tokugawa Ieyasu won in the Battle of Sekigahara. Maybe Ieyasu’s the main protagonist in this one?
