Calminex 101: dealing with angry gamers

Expletives and broken walls. If you’re an angry gamer, or perhaps just happen to live with one, then chances are you’ve had more than your fair share of both. Well, Destructoid’s posted a couple of ideas to help you live with the rage seething inside you or a loved one while playing over Xbox Live.

In addition to taking some precautions for your gear and buying warranties, Destructoid reminds people to bring a spare pillow  around if you feel the need to be violent. Even more importantly, you shouldn’t ever take your anger out on living things, mostly because you’re bound to go to jail if you do so.

On the flipside, living with one also isn’t easy. Besides learning to ignore the angry gamer and respect his personal space, the most important thing you should remember is to not kick him when he’s down: don’t make fun of him if he’s losing, and perhaps not at all.

Remember, taking some extra precautions should save you the trouble of losing friends, family, and game peripherals. Trust us, you wouldn’t want to end up angry as heck like the guy below (Note: swearing ahead).
