Can Assassin’s Creed be easily concealable in a DS-sized pocket?

Assassin's Creed (DS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!), Ubisoft - Image 1

Kotaku’s Michael Fahey had to do a double-take to be sure he heard right. Assassin’s Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) DS? He got that out of the mouth of one GameStop employee, who even booted up the store PC to show him the SKU number (180408). And it’s even now on GameStop’s online store and GameFly‘s rental service listings. Retail US$ 29.99, 26 September.

Ubisoft loves its secrets, doesn’t it? Hmm… who can spill, who can spill (okay, maybe Kirsten Bell can’t spill, dang it). Still, interesting development, if this turns out to be true. How would it play, we wonder? Will crowds react the same way minus a couple of cores or SPUs? Will stabbing someone in the neck with a stylus lead to insta-death?
