Capcom confirms Resident Evil 5 Collector’s Edition

It seems that all big games these days have to get their special editions to spruce up their launches. It’s mandated by law or something. Capcom made no exceptions to that as they confirmed that Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) will have a special edition of its own. That and other details including the price after the jump.

 

We all know that Capcom‘s upcoming Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) was one of E3 2008’s biggest attractions. Some hands-on action was unleashed by the Japanese publishers and along with that, some new info as well.

In addition to the game’s simultaneous worldwide launch date across two platforms, Capcom also revealed that a Collector’s Edition of the game will be available. The price? US$ 89.99. A little on the chunky side, but for drooling fans, it should be a steal.

Resident Evil 5, touted by its devs as the scariest and toughest chapter of the series, will launch on March 13th, 2009. That’s a Friday but this one spells good gaming fortune all the way.
