Here’s more from Capcom Gamers Day. GameSpot reports that Capcom executive vice president and American and European software publishing head Mark Beaumont announced that Capcom has mad a deal for “PlayStation format rights” for MotoGP. The first Capcom MotoGP game will be MotoGP Â’07, and it should be out for the PlayStation 2 this fall in North America and Europe.

It should be noted that previously, Namco owned the rights to make PlayStation MotoGP games. Moreover, note that the PS2 MotoGP 07 isn’t the same with the Xbox 360 MotoGP 07 – which is being published by THQ.

Capcom did not comment if a PS3 or a new PSP MotoGP game is in the works. But, as we’ve said, if there is one planned, they’ve got the “rights” to make it.
