Carnage To Deliver Fast-Paced Vehicle Combat For The Xbox 360 And PC

Perhaps in an attempt to catch up on Auto Assault‘s success, Nice Tech Ltd. has just announced the development of Carnage for the Xbox 360 and PC. Touted as a “an adrenaline fuelled driving and combat frenzy”, the game will deliver MMO-scope vehicular combat via Xbox Live and regular servers. The developer has so far only revealed a few key features of Carnage, so here they are… Carnage for the 360

  • Hugely multiplayer vehicle combat
  • Large interactive game arenas
  • Real-time dynamics and collision systems
  • “Deathmatch”-oriented gameplay
  • Individual or cooperative game modes
  • Managed tournament system
  • Customisable vehicles, armour, components & weapons
  • Persistent player statistics & global ranking reward system
  • Support for hundreds of thousands of players
  • Simple, addictive “dip-in-dip-out” gameplay for all levels

Carnage will be powered by AliceServer technology, enabling a great number of players to be supported on standard server hardware. Additionally, the game client will allow for highly scalable visuals, making it possible to unleash the carnage even on computers with on-board graphics hardware.

What Nice Tech plans to offer with Carnage sounds rather promising, and of course we’ll give you an update once more information and the first screenshots find their way onto the internet.
