CD Universe knows something we don’t about Dark Messiah and Sims

Dark Messiah - Image 1We reported a couple of days ago that judging from Ubisoft‘s actions, it seems that the publisher is looking to expand their Might and Magic franchise. Our initial post talked about an MMORPG version of the title, but to our surprise, it appears that Xbox360 users may soon be getting their own dose of swords and sorcery instead.

Online retail store CD Universe currently has a pre-order listing for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic for the said console. If the retail store’s post is to be taken as fact, then Dark Messiah will be shipping by May 16 for US$ 59.99. Their product page also states that placing your pre-orders now will save you US$ 1.04.

To those who have forgotten Dark Messiah, it was released after Heroes of Might and Magic V for the PC. The series is generally categorized as a role-playing game, but Dark Messiah is actually more of an FPS.

One other thing to note on CD Universe’s site would be another PC listing called Sims 2: Celebration Stuff. To be quite frank, we haven’t heard anything about this Sims add-on, but it looks like Celebration Stuff isn’t a full-blown expansion pack. It could be just a collection of new items, just like the one that EA has released before. Celebration Stuff is priced at US$ 16.59 and will become available on April 11.

While we wait for official word regarding these two games, it may be a good idea to file all this under the “Rumor” folder for now.
