ChickHEN Mod: run ChickHEN enabler much smoother
With the release of Custom Firmware Enabler v1.0 earlier, homebrew coder m0skit0 has decided to release a mod that will enable ChickHEN to load much smoother. Now this is handy for all the PSP owners with TA-088v3 motherboards who haven’t tried the ChickHEN homebrew enabler from Team Typhoon yet.

To install the program:
- Power on the PSP
- Connect to the PC via USB.
- Open the folder of the PSP and copy the download (in the root of the MS)
- Decompress ChickHEN Mod.zip. Answer “Yes” to all replacements.
- Now we do a safe extraction of the PSP and switch to PSP now
- Press O to cancel USB connection
- Go to Photos, down to Memory Stick and press X
- Wait for the egg image to load in the ChickHEN Mod square.
- When it’s loaded press X (no need for timing here)
- DO NOTHING MORE, JUST WAIT
If you are successful, you’ll see the green light flashing and it will reboot in the ChickHEN environment. After that, you can now enable the CFW Enabler v1.0. If it doesn’t work, just reset your PSP and go back to step 7. M0skit0 says that this program is guaranteed to work on PSP-2000s and tested on some PSP-3000s.
