Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon gameplay, custscene screenshots

Here’s one for those who love those cuddly Chocobos. Today we’ve got another bunch of screenshots of Square Enix‘s upcoming Wii title, Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time. The game is currently scheduled for a December 13 release in Japan. Check out the screenshots at the full article for a preview.

Here’s one for those who love those cuddly Chocobos. Today we’ve got another bunch of screenshots of Square Enix‘s upcoming Wii title, Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time.

Those familiar with Square Enix’s series of dungeon crawlers featuring Chocobo and Cid will find that Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time still features some of the series’ gameplay staples, such as randomly generated dungeons and turn-based battles.

Of course, there are also new elements incorporated into the gameplay. One of these is the addition of a Job system. Being a Wii game, Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time will also feature heavy usage of the motion-sensing Wiimote. Usage of the Nunchuk controller will reportedly be optional.

Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time is scheduled to hit Japan next week. It the meantime, check out the screenshots below.
