Clarification: Halo 3 invites on ‘initial shipment’ of Crackdown, sez Microsoft
After assuring gamers that EVERY copy of RealTime Worlds‘ Crackdown will have an invitation to participate in the Halo 3 beta test, Microsoft has released a little clarification regarding said beta invite in said game. Apparently, only the initial shipment of Crackdown will include the Halo 3 beta invite.
According to a post made by CPaladino on GamerscoreBlog, “The initial shipment of Crackdown at retail will include access to the Halo 3 beta. The ‘initial shipment’ is pretty huge, so there will be enough to go around.”
There you go folks. Initial shipment. Remember those words and make sure you grab a copy when Crackdown launches on February 20 if you want to make it into the Halo 3 beta. Hey, even if you don’t get the Beta invite, at least you still have a great game on your hands.
