Clive Barker’s Jericho: screenshots, concept art, and character art

 

The game Clive Barker’s Jericho by Codemasters must be one of the creepiest and scariest games we’ve seen. Now, we’ve seen some pretty horrifying games, but there’s something about the concept of having the crusaders coming after you. Perhaps it’s the fact that these damned creatures know what they were and what they’ve become that scares us.

We have some screenshots, concept art, and character art of the characters in the game. Now, the screenshots that we have show off some of the creatures that you will be encountering when you play the game. The creatures which we assume were once human look like something from “Hellraiser”. They look fleshy, but not in a good way. The characters and concept art aren’t anything special, they’re pretty standard as far as next-gen games are concerned.

Slated for fall 2007, the game is looking to scare – er – impress. We’re also secretly hoping that the creators release a book with the storyline because we have no idea if we’ll have the guts to finish the game.
