Coheed and Cambria’s Welcome Home added to Rock Band track list

Coheed and Camrbia - Image 1After numerous announcements of a whole slew of well-known songs from the ’70s to the early 2000s, a relatively new song has finally been added to the track list of MTV Games and Harmonix‘s Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3).

Progressive rockers Coheed and Cambria has been confirmed as one of the bands who will contribute tracks to the game. In Rock Band, players will be able to perform Welcome Home – the third track off of Coheed and Cambria’s 2005 album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness.

Welcome Home also marks the entry of less mainstream tracks to the game. Fans of the band will no doubt have a great time rocking out to this track, especially the guitar interplay between Claudio Sanchez and Travis Stever towards the end of the song. Rock Band is currently scheduled for a late November release.
