Come sail away: know your Pirates of the Burning Sea ships

Know you PotBS ships! - Image 1

All hands on deck! Do you scallywags know your ships? Can you tell starboard from port, and fore deck from… poop deck? Well, not all boats are built the same, but in an MMORPG like Pirates of the Burning Sea, knowing all about them is half the battle.

In a two-part devlog entry in the official PotBS website of Flying Labs Software, Taelom gave us the low-down of the different kinds of ships and the different advantages they can carry. The list runs deep – from the slow but powerful frigates to the swift and deadly cutters. You can check out what kinds of ships will suit your warfare, use the tacks to change you tactics, and embargo the cargo of what to include (or what not to) in your armada.

The second part of the devlog is geared more towards the gears of you artillery and ship set-up. Taelom continues the discussion by explaining ammo, guns, and outfitting. You don’t want to sink your ship into Davy Jones‘ locker and get marooned, now would you? Yeah, thought so.

In that case, walk the plank over to the Read link. Get ready to jump ship!
