You’ve seen hunters taking down monsters in the Monster Hunter 3 footage posted earlier. Today we also got some info on the weapon types that will be available to every aspiring hunter looking to take down the beasties that populate the game.

- Small Sword
- Lance
- Hammer
- Bowgun (with 3 customizable parts)
- Big Sword
- Long Blade
- Slash Axe
There’s still no word of a North American release for Monster Hunter 3 but considering Capcom‘s recent push to promote the series outside Japan, we may yet see a stateside release for this game. It’s currently scheduled for a Summer 2009 release in Japan.
