CrocoDS Alpha v0.2a

Amstrad CPCMolly Ringwald. Cyndi Lauper. Duran Duran. Journey! — Aaaah. The 80’s. It was a generation of bad haircuts and an equally bad fashion sense (fishnet stockings, anyone?). But nonetheless, it was the era that brought us the wonder that was Amstrad CPC.

But before we get time warped to that fun generation, let’s not get too off track here. I only used that intro because we have in our hands right now a CPC 6128 emulator for the DS, My Ketchup Is Dead’s CrocoDS Alpha v0.2a.

If you guys had fun using CrocoDS Alpha v0.1a, then you’ll be glad to know that redbug (yep, that’s his name, not My Ketchup Is Dead. Apologies for any confusion.) has updated his clever emulator to v0.2a.

Changelog:

  • Support of G6. (Thank you Lord Raptor and Puyo)
  • Support of the GBFS. (Thank you Alekmaul)
  • Withdrawal of the demonstrations of Boulderdash, Bomb Jack and Meynaupede in order to reduce the size of the nds
  • 2-3% faster.

If you’re feeling a bit lost here, don’t fret. You can check out more info on this emu, as well as installations and controls right here. And now that all that’s out of the way, you can now get back to reminiscing ’bout the 80’s and if you want, you can even share those embarrassing 80’s moments (c’mon, dig out those memories you’ve tried so hard to block out!) via the comments below. We can’t assure you though that we won’t laugh in your faces if you do. Hahaha.
