DaoC: Sanya saves the day with her Grab Bag

daocAs players of the MMO Dark Age of Camelot, we’ve already forgotten how many times we’ve turned to Sanya Thomas for help. At this point, to be quite frank, we’re having some issues with Maulers and the new Champ quests. How we would love to see Sanya now and grab her legendary Grab Bag.

Accordingly, Maulers are still not appearing in the Herald champion lists. Thomas recognizes this and mentions that Mythic Entertainment has started working on it. She said that once the display is fixed, the points we’ve earned will already count. Also we were wondering if the Silence ability will interrupt MOC. Thankfully, Thomas mentioned that it won’t. But the person in point will be silenced during the duration of the spell.

Moving on to our problem with Champ quests, we noticed that there’s a minor bug in there. For example, in one of the quests, players are given a list of stones that need to be destroyed to collect a piece 1/5. Apparently, the stones respawn quite fast and so we don’t have to look in other places. All we have to do is wait there. To this, Sanya answered:

While it’s possible to camp the same Demon Summoning Stone all 5 times for the quest, each Stone has multiple locations in which to spawn. We wanted to give the players options on where to go should the ones they’re heading toward aren’t available. We recognize that it’s a possibility for those who don’t mind waiting, while hoping a gank group doesn’t come over the hill looking for RPs at a static location.

Oh, okay. That is quite smart. Once again, Sanya and her Grab Bag saved the day for us. If some of you are having the same issues or other problems for that matter regarding DAoC, click on the Read link below for more loot from Sania’s Grab Bag.
